A cold wind blew over Godrics hollow on this bitter evening. Lily and James Potter were singing to there newborn son Harry . A slow knock was heard at the door "I'll get it " Lily said, slowly putting Harry down. Lily rushed down the stairs and opened the door . "Hello Lilly " Remus said . Sirius who was standing beside him only nodded . "you shouldn't be here" she said . At that moment James came running down the stairs . "Sirius Remus what are you doing here" he asked "Thanks for the welcome " said Sirius "we've come to warn you " "warn us about what" asked Lilly "we are going to leave for a while and we think the three of you should come with us " Remus said "it would be to dangerous for us to leave were safest here as long as peter is secret keeper " James said "fine but we are leaving " said Sirius "we shall meet again on October the 17th at Hogwarts for the general meeting" "goodbye until then" said James as he hugged Remus and then Sirius . and they both walked out "you don't reckon there right do you" asked Lilly "of course not were perfectly safe here " He answered They heard a cry from upstairs "I'll get it " Lilly said as she went upstairs . She took Harry in to her arms . "LILLY" James screamed "TAKE HARRY RUN HE'S HERE; VOLDEMORT IS HERE " Lilly quickly took Harry in to her arms and put a lock charm on the door. She had to think quickly there were almost no options she couldn't apparate with the baby she would have to use a forbidden curse on Voldemort "NO", she heard James scream he was on his way up James was dead it was over she took out her wand and the door opened . It was the most hideous thing she ever saw . Voldemort picked up his wand and shouted "AVADA KEDAVRA" and Lilly lay motionless on the floor.......
