It gives me pleasure to acknowledge my concertina teacher, Boris Matusewitch (1918-1978), America's foremost virtuoso on the English concertina. Although I studied under him for all of two years (1969-1971), he influenced my musical development, imbuing me with a love for music and the concertina, which has endured to this very day.
